Frequently Asked Questions about Saint Theresa School.
All school families are requited to purchase $1000 of SCRlP during the 2013-2014 school year. This requirement can be met by purchasing $100 of SCRlP per month (September-June). Families not fulfilling the $1000 SCRIP requirement by June 5, 2012 will be billed $100.
SCRlP certificates act like cash. If you buy $20 of SCRlP at the school office you get a $20 SCRlP certificate. There is no loss of value to the customer. There are no ATM fees. The school makes money on every purchase of SCRIP.
Currently there are at least 25 companies in South Lake Tahoe and Carson City that accept SCRIP. These companies include: Raleys, Safeway, Walmart, Carrows, Chevy's, Denny's, Domino's Pizza, JC Penney's, STAPLES, K-Mart, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Longs Drugs, Starbucks, Radio Shack, Bed Bath, and Beyond, Pier 1 Imports, Chili’s, Baja Fresh, (CVS Pharmacy) Ross, Borders, Home Depot, and Best Buy.
See Extended Scrip List at the Front Office.
The school can order SCRIP from over 170 companies. Many of these companies have stores all over America including Reno, Sacramento, the Bay Area, and Southern California.
Grocery store programs like a Raley's Quality of Life card and the Safeway card registered with e-SCRIP, debit/credit cards, and various online community partners will not count towards the $1000 requirement. However we strongly recommend that you register these grocery store cards online as the school will receive a small percentage of what you spend. SCRlP sales provide extra money for projects and school programs.
